Welcome To HOOPS FOR RACHEL!The Hoops for Rachel Event is a single-elimination 3-on-3 Basketball tournament. Three-on-three uses the same principles and concepts of regulation 5-on-5 basketball, except that it is played on a half court with only six players on the floor. The Centennial Hills YMCA will be hosting this event on November 10th 2012 starting at 8:30am. Teams must sign up in advance by filling out the registration form on the website. All teams must be registered and have paid their entrance fee of $75 by Nov 2nd. Each team will be provided a “Hoops for Rachel” T-shirt and lunch the day of the tournament. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner will receive a prize. The day of the tournament there will be a raffle which will include many great prizes. Also there will be several mini contests throughout the day including a 3 point shooting contest and a free throw contest. Participants interested in the mini contests can sign up the day of the event and the contest entry fee is $5 each.
Thank you for the donations. The event was very successful and we met our goals of being able to cover Rachel's medical expenses. The tournament will be held November 10, 2012 at the Centennial Hills YMCA, 6601 N. Buffalo Dr. Tournament will start at 8:30am in the large gym of the YMCA. Teams must check in by 8:15am.
